A Real Faith for a Real World

Lytle Christian Fellowship Church

History of Lytle Christian Fellowship

Lytle Christian Fellowship (LCF) was formed out of another mainline protestant denomination in 1994 after taking a stand on several theological issues.  After being independent for two years, the congregation joined the fellowship of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA).

The congregation has met mostly in two locations, beginning in the “Der Dutchman” restaurant in Waynesville, Ohio and since 2002, worshipping in our current building on Church Street in downtown Waynesville.  The church’s original vision was to meet in the neighboring small town of Lytle, OH, hence the name Lytle Christian Fellowship.  A name change reflecting who and where we are today is currently being considered.

Since 1994, LCF has matured through the ministries of four pastors.
